Here are some ideas I do while I mascot:
-During halftime, go play the opposite's mascot in a game of friendly basketball (keyword:
Friendly).
-During halftime, attempted to make a Free Point shot. If successful, attempted a Three Point
shot. If successful, entertain the crowd with a Half Court shot (It is possible! I've done it twice during a three minute
time allowance).
-During halftime, shot a Free Point shot backwards between the legs. Make as many as
you can. When your time on the court is almost done, try one more shot but miss...not the basket, the legs. Be sure
you don't hurt yourself. (Crowd Lover! Mostly for the kids!)
-When the Pep Band plays, be sure to dance with what they are playing!
-When doing a sideline cheer, hang out with the most spirit section and over exaggerate the
cheerleader's cheers.
-ONLY fight the opposite mascot if it is planned...and OKed.
Thats about it for the sports. Be sure to go the the My Sports for an update about the current
sport I'm in!
SCHOOL
To tell the truth, I like school. I like to learn and be around my friends. Summer
Break and Christmas Break is always depressing because I don't see all of my friends everyday. I only see the few who aren't
on trips and/or are available and not working.
As I said before, I love to do sports but in order for me to do them, I need to keep a good
grade in school. Most of the time, I keep good grades like a lot of "A"s and many "B"s, but I might get
the few "C"s once in a while. I rarely get a "D" and/or "F". Overall, I am a pretty bright boy. The problem is
that I am lazy and tend not to do the homework. I am a very hands-on person...not a book learner.
I'm a Senior in 12th grade and a proud member of the Class of 2006. I moved here in 2nd grade
so my graduation will be a 10 year celebration in Valdez! The good thing about that is a few of my friends will finally get
the Platium Friendship Badge.
Actually, thats kinda about it. To learn more about whats going on currently at Valdez
High School, got to or go to the School Website.
